Apologies for creating another topic on this subject but I would really appreciate all your help.
I graduated from London School of Economics (Accounting and Finance) and for whatever reason thought audit was the way to go and got into one of the big four here in London. I just finished my second year and I cannot take it anymore. I would have to stay one more year to qualify for CA but I really don't want to do that.
Unfortunately my only internship was in big 4 audit as well so I have no experience outside audit.
I know harder to get in but do you think it would be possible for someone with my background to ? I don' or small shops preferences as I long as I can make the switch.
From what I have heard, it is extremely hard to transfer to TS internally in London so I don't want to waste time trying it.
I am going to buy BIWS and start practicing. Do you think mentioning modelling classes in my resume is enough to at least get me interviews or do I definitely need to have relevant work experience?
Also, should I try getting into other areas first (FP&A for ex might be easier to get in from big4) which would eventually help me move to ER?
