GSAM off-cycle return rate and internal/international mobility

Hi all,

Got an middle office OC intern offer from GSAM, definitely accepting it as it's the best I could possibly get. But before starting the internship, couple of questions and expectations need to be explained from the experienced:

  1. How is the conversion rate to FT in general? My contract is 6 month and my take is that it's beneficial to network and get exposure.

  2. The possibility of transferring to a FO role or a different country? Everybody including the HR says internal mobility at GS is the best among BBs, but I've also seen ppl saying it's a lot politics and luck. So how large is the probability exactly? (both in short & long term)

Thanks a lot!

In this case, Conversion & Mobility is good.
