UBS levfin vs financial sponsors (London)

I'm starting in a few months in London and have a high interest in the leveraged finance/financial sponsor teams. However, I am not sure how the groups exactly work in terms of who holds the pen on the models. I am aware that in the US based on LinkedIn they are grouped into the same group under FSLF. However, when I look at people in London they either seem split in either of the group. So, I would like to understand the finer details of these teams and how they differ in work.

The Leveraged Finance team will never hold the pen of the operating model.
