Is it possible to apply to FT recruiting 2 years after graduation?

Hello, 

I finished my MSc in Finance and Accounting from a target Business School in the UK (Imperial/LSE/LBS/UCL) 2 years ago. I failed to break into IB at that time, so I had to accept a role in Valuations at a Big4 company in London.  

I really enjoy my job, and I have learned a lot about valuation techniques and financial modelling, however my dream has always been working in M&A at BB or EB. Usually, FT analyst programmes are for students in their last year of studies, or masters, but do I have a chance to get a spot with 27 years old and almost 3 years of experience? Or should I look for a lateral movement?
