Prospective Monkey is Right

So I just looked up some information on hedge funds and liked what I saw. $$$$$$$$. I'm already on my way to getting a finance undergrad degree but I'm wondering whether or not it's worth it to get a master's? I'm clueless. As of yet I have not taken a finance class because my major is still Business Administration and I won't be able to change it to Finance until I graduate and transfer schools (I currently go to a community college). Before this I was planning on getting a master's in Healthcare Administration but every since I came across hedge funds I'm thinking I should get an MBA. Maybe, maybe not who knows...I've read that MBA's aren't always sought after. Anyway, I'm clueless about any of these finance careers whether they be HF or PE or IB. I'm completely inexperienced as to what these careers entail. Are they hard careers? Competitive/hard to land a position? Can I work in suburban areas in New Jersey or is NYC my only real target location? I'm 23 by the way.
