Need advice on a small REPE entry role

I was offered an entry role at a small ~1B AUM REPE firm and was told to expect 50% travel as the real estate development was outside my base country. Also, the fund only serves a few LPs and is not looking to expand to other asset classes.

My question is, what is the general perspective on the attractiveness of such a role? (maybe compare to T1/2 consulting/ IB) Will my role be recognised and help me to move to larger funds in the future? (Due to the sensitivity of the LPs the fund will stay low profile) What is the usual cash comp liked for this kind of role as an investment analyst?
