Ankura T&R?
Hi all. Looking for any info on the Ankura T&R team regarding culture, engagement, comp, interview experience, etc. In the middle of a process with them right now and would love some more color. Thanks.

I can only really speak for the T&R group at Ankura.
The firm was started by the ex- global co-head of FTI consulting, the practice have grown through acquisitions in the past year or so. The T&R practice at the firm primarily focuses on debtor side cases with some UCC work as well. Team culture is great within the T&R team and compensation is on par with other comparable players within the market. Overall, strong senior leadership and tight knit culture within the T&R team.
thanks for the info! what is comp progression?
What are most of the backgrounds in this group?
& what does wlb look like?
I can only really speak for the T&R group at Ankura - Please DM with specific questions
WLB: Depending on the deal you are on, you will most likely be expected to work later nights and some weekends.
Comp: Competitive base with YE bonus ranging anywhere from 30 - 50% (I've heard of it going higher).
Culture: Overall, firm has a boutique feel, giving jr level staff a lot of responsibility early on. Great environment in the office, most teams travel infrequently and enjoy grabbing drinks on a weekly basis.
Backgrounds: Look at LinkedIn
I ended up going with a different firm for this summer, but will definitely apply for FT. Whats the base comp?
Id hope college hires are getting at least $100k. Not 100% sure though, they also did a large round of layoffs at the end of 2023 so not sure how big their analyst class will be for FT and if they will hire out of their intern class.
