Interview Situation Help!
This has come up a couple times in my interviews, and I do not know how to handle it. I have looked over a ton of brainteasers now and every so often I get one in an interview that I have heard before, and therefore have the answer memorized.... So whenever I answer it, is it better to just sit there and think about it for a few seconds before answering, which makes it seem like I have never heard of it before and came up with it with my own logic, or is it ok to answer immediately and therefore risk the interviewer knowing that I already had this one memorized and therefore they might throw another one out there? Any advice would be appreciated!
also try to say your "thinking process" out aloud, so they're even more impressed!
Well obviously you don't want to just shout the answer out immediately. You should think out loud while making the needed connections quickly and correctly. I'm sure many of your interviewers would suspect that you've heard a particular brain teaser if you answer correctly obsurdly fast.
