Corporate banking?

I'm just putting this out to get more information about the industry but I'm a freshman in college just tryin to learn about new industries, what does the recruitment timeline look for a lot of corporate banking positions (recruitment during sophomore year or junior year?),  requirements to get an interview (min GPA, how many internships on resume, etc.), and just any other information that would be useful would be greatly appreciated.
