What does investment management hiring look like without internship experience?

So just to lay the groundwork, I come from a non-target and I am going into my junior year of college. I have a 4.0, multiple student leadership experiences, and I am registered to take the CFA Level 1. Even though I applied essentially the day applications opened, I have not heard back. I think that it mainly has to do with my school and that is why I am transferring to a target school.

At this point I do not expect to hear back for
the 2025 investment management internships, so I am now wondering what the chances of getting a job within six months after graduation for someone looking to
work in investment fund management are?
