Introduction
Hello,
New user here. Long story short, I've always been interested in finance and computer science. Chose to go the computer science route for higher salary floor and easier entry and am somewhat regretting my decision. I make alright money but the work is boring. I find myself increasingly attracted to finance and end up reading earnings reports and watching cnbc all day. I would like to become an analyst at hedge fund. At this point I'm not sure whether I'd like to be more of a fundamental analyst or more quantitative. I'm more drawn to the fundamental side of things, but perhaps quantitative would be easier to break into with my computer science background. Would like to keep options open for now.
Nice to meet you all. Look forward to learning from everyone here, and hopefully figuring out a path to get where I want.
Thanks,
Travis
