PLEASE DESTROY RESUME

Hey guys, I just graduated high school and am doing military time for a while before going into college. I want to do IB after college and am using this "in-between time" between high school graduation and freshman year of college to get military work for my resume, brush up my software skills and learn Python, get internship experience, and develop my excel skills so that when I become a freshman in college, I am ready for the IB club and to network! Planning on ED-ing to Fordham Gabelli and also applying to OSU, PSU, Baruch, Miami U Ohio level colleges because that is within my mid 1350s SAT and 3.8 GPA range coming from a competitive Brooklyn high school. Anyways, was wondering if everyone could provide advice on my resume? It is what I will be using for internships and getting into any IB related clubs, summer finance internships, or programs. Thanks! Appreciate everyone who takes the time!

Yeah, I do have "reaches" on my lists but these are the ones mentioned above that are safeties/target schools (target in terms of chance of getting in) that I am semi-confident I can get into.

Interests section should be condensed, should not be full sentences. Maybe say like  “Kart Racing (won x championship), Guitar (garnered x amount of streams)”. A little nit picky, but you should honestly take English off your languages section if applying to internships in US; I know it’s fine in enea and apac but aside from working as a bank teller in El Paso, full working proficiency is the accepted floor for us finance jobs. Otherwise looks very good

Try to get leadership experience by joining non-profit boards in your area, however the military is great regardless.

I think you are ahead of others and should be fine if you stay consistent. Another thing is start networking and building relationships years before the sophomore year interview process.
