Post Grad Masters/Msc ranking Europe

Hi everyone, following interrogations from other topics, I thought it would be great to have a somehow "official" ranking of Masters in Europe with infos on them. for IB

Being noted that this is subject to change and that every feedback is more than welcome so we can have a consensus. I know the list is not complete, might be necessary to add tiers.

Tier 1

Oxford MFE

LBS MFA

LSE MiF

HEC MiF

Tier 1.5

Bocconi MiF

HSG (St Gallen) MiF

Warwick MiF

Tier 2

Imperial MiF

ESCP MiF

ESSEC MiF

WHU MiF

Tier 3

UCL MiF

Bayes MiF

ESADE MiF

INSEAD MiF

SSE MiF

IE MiF

RSM (Rotterdam School of Management) MFI

EDHEC MiF

HEC and LBS should be moved to a lower tier than Oxford, maybe tier 1.5. Also doesn't make sense to include Cambridge MiF since it is a post-experience programme, which none of the other programmes on the list are.

Imo Bocconi and Imperial should also be in a tier above the rest that you've grouped them with. Could also make the case that St. Gallen should be above those schools

Good point for Cambridge. Cannot agree for HEC/LBS as the aim of this is not to have 15 tiers and I tend to think that HEC/LBS are above Bocconi (which deserve tier 1.5). Imperial I'd say yes for undergrad but not for postgrad. Will adapt depending on other POV

Definitely agree that HEC/LBS are above Bocconi, St. Gallen, Imperial etc. My thought was that if you shift HEC/LBS down a tier, all the schools below are also shifted down a tier

Is Warwick that much better than Imperial? I thought they were the same/average?

No even CASS wasn't considered to be very good. Always considered a back-up plan for most candidates (and still is with Bayes).

Well Bocconi is a relatively good bet for London (although you need a good CV apart from just your degree). RSM also but a bit less than Bocconi (but really good considering its price). EDHEC is more known in France but with a strong CV you could potentially find something in London.

I would say a combination. University is one thing but you will need internships and a strong overall CV. Good luck :)
