Would an econ BA hamper my chances at ER?
Doing a BA in economics, not enjoying it or learning anything useful/technical. If I switched to fin/business, I would have to stay at school for around 2 more years. But I have learned applicable topics like accounting, industry research, and modeling through past internships.
I am thinking about switching to math, thoughts?
Also, how late in the game am I to summer 2025 recruiting?
One thing's for sure, if you wanna work in ER, you need to get a consistent message across. The title here has nothing to do with the text lmfao.
As people constantly say, your school matters more than your degree. STEM is generally liked.
You're pretty late to SA2025. It's almost done I believe.
No bro ER hires all types of backgrounds. I’m a doctor who didn’t know what EBITDA was on day 1 of the job.
I was a Econ Major who just graduated this month and got into ER; It is very easy if you were in your school's SMIF to demonstrate interest;
as to "Also, how late in the game am I to summer 2025 recruiting?" you're cooked.
I believe UBS and SIG have not opened ER applications yet but most firms are wrapping up already
Do a masters maybe it’ll help with recruiting
Why on earth would it hamper you? This job isn't rocket science yk
