New Level of Content Moderation on WSO?

I think it's strange that earlier today I posted an innocuous, non-inflammatory question to WSO about the current events surrounding a certain consumer aerospace OEM (whose name I won't repeat here . . but it begins with a "B" and ends in "oeing") and the post was hastily taken down by WSO and they seem unwilling to tell me why that happened.

Before the post was taken down, one reader raised a very good point: the company in question has longstanding connections all over the highest levels of military and government, and their motivations and willingness to act shouldn't be underestimated.

Perhaps this action by WSO is another example of that.  Who knows.  Strange times.

This is local news to me - I was interested in that thread.
