Am I wasting an opportunity to leave IB too early?

I have been working for a boutique IB shop for a few months now on a team that specialized in CRE. (my background is in CRE) I was initially pumped to get into an IB role but a consulting firm I interviewed with a while back just came out of the blue and gave me an offer with a significantly higher salary, better culture, and is more in line with my current skills. I'm not intimidated by the hours and stress of the IB job but the consulting job is more in line with short term happiness. Will I regret giving up an opportunity in investment banking after only a few months? And will I be throwing away a better springboard for an upward move in the future by leaving IB and going into consulting?
