Looking for a mentor in sustainability and finance

just finishing high school and waiting to hear from colleges. Looking to get advice on how to add ecology/environmental science to future finance degree. Do you recommend full blown high tech geology/ecology science or softer less scientific courses that blend sustainability with economics? Which provides greater credibility or it’s not that important?
