Blackrock Private Credit Comp
I have an interview for a Blackrock private credit investment associate role coming up, does anyone know salary expectations here? I assumed somewhere in the ~225k-250k all in range.

Blackrock should be higher than that. You can get $250k all-in at a shop with less than $2B AUM. Average cash comp for associates in NY is $300k according to the Odyssey PC comp report that came out this week.
Guidance from 2022 for their opportunistic credit team was $250k for Asso 1 with a 50% bonus deferral in Blackrock stock. I suspect this has moved up closer to 300k but bonus deferral likely still stays.
Sorry could you breakdown what 50% bonus deferral means? Does that mean if TC is 250k and base is 150k, your bonus is 100k and split 50k cash and 50k Blackrock stock?
The deferral numbers are wrong. I work at the firm in a diff group but deferrals are grid based but nowhere close to 50%. Would be 15% of bonus for those below VP.
What does it really matter dude? If your interview goes well and you get an offer, you’re gonna take it.
