Is my life over after not getting GS?
I had a Superday with GS classic a few weeks back and it went super well. However, unfortunately I ended up not getting the offer. Is my life over? Need honesty here.

Yeah
You won't do be doing any "god's work" in your lifetime. Forever in purgatory, have fun!
Sorry bud, gotta delete your account here
Don't be too hard on yourself man. Ik how you feel, as someone who went to a non-target and just partied throughout college, I have been in a similar position to you buddy. I played hockey D3 and had no time to do school work because of all the concussions so my GPA was a bit lower than the average and from what ive heard from my roommate the best i-bankers have like over 3.3 averages! My friend who is a day-trading genius only has a 3.1 and he is the most smart guy Ive ever met. My best advice would be to just ask your Dad to get you a position somewhere because thats me and my bestfriend did. Now Im just started my first year working for some small "botique" (term for what they call it on wall street) ibanking firm that is called the Centerview Partners. It isn't all that big and well known like the bigger names (my first choice was Goldman Sachs but apparently you have to do a bunch of interviews that I was not prepared for) and the office isnt even on wall street! But I like it because even though my dad works on the floor above me it is still alright and pays decently well. So don't be all that down! Even if you end up at some noname firm like me, in the end you could probably transfer over to a super cool bank like Goldman. Peace brother
Had me in the first half ngl, love the D3 hockey plug though, mad respect
lol only D3 ?
Slacker
Do your homework lil boi
Look at this loser he’s not at Goldman.
Your life is over for not getting Blackstone or PIMCO
Goldman better tbf
PIMCO??
Congrats on PIMCO!
I’d like to humbly announce I’ll be attending the highly exclusive program PIMCO Prep
Yep its Apollo/Franklin Templeton or bust
Yes, you should probably kill yourself so the world isn’t burdened with your pathetic existance
I agree
Yes. Your daughter will look the other way when you come to pick her up from her shitty school.
It was nearly over but luckily you escaped the GS coal mines.
On a great path to failure ! No goldman no life
Yes to Goldman is no to life
Why don’t you just got to buyside then.
Same here, bro; I missed out on GS but got an offer at MS. At that point, I was like, I might as well just work for my dad. So, I'm an analyst at ~$5Bn middle-market fund with partner track and direct promotion.
Dw, us GS rejects, find a way. Face adversity, brother.
Ask for janitor roles so you can still tell your loser non-gs bb friends that you work at Goldman!
Were you drunk when you posted this?
Bro it’s a joke
And I was trying to folllow up with a joke.
Yep if you're not at GS TMT then what are you doing
Yeah
Yes
I want to work at Goldman Sachs
Goldman Sachs
What’s up buddy. Although it’s not the end of the world I think you should steer yourself in a different direction. Doesn’t seem like IB is fair you. #GregknowsIB
Yes
This is too soft for GS.
Your life isn’t over. There are no more banks that have top exits. Only option is to work at Bloomingdale’s and get topped
