Invest in New York City’s future: join a small, hands-on team putting private capital to
work behind the entrepreneurs, technologists, and public-sector partners building a
more inclusive city.

The Partnership Fund for New York City is an impact fund dedicated to mobilizing
private-sector resources and expertise to strengthen New York City as a global center
of economic opportunity, upward mobility and innovation. The Fund invests in for-profit
and nonprofit entrepreneurs and innovators who help build a more vibrant and inclusive
New York City economy.

Summary of Position: The Senior Vice President is a senior member of the Fund’s
investment team, leading investments from sourcing through investment and helping to
shape the Fund’s investment strategy. The role offers the opportunity to deploy patient,
flexible capital, including venture investments and debt on market and concessionary
terms, to support New York City-based for-profit and nonprofit enterprises. The Senior
Vice President works closely with the Fund’s leadership and staff, leads investment
evaluation, and represents the Fund with entrepreneurs, co-investors and public-sector
partners. Few roles offer the same combination of transaction leadership and the chance
to see the measurable impact of one’s work across the city’s neighborhoods and
economy.

The Partnership Fund was founded in 1996 by Henry Kravis as the investment arm of the
Partnership for New York City. The Fund is a $130 million “evergreen” fund: realized
gains are continuously reinvested, and the Fund has invested more than $200 million in
over 190 companies since inception.

In addition to its investment activity, the Partnership Fund also operates innovation labs
with public-sector partners, including the Transit Tech Lab, the Environmental Tech Lab
and the Buildings Tech Lab, as well as the FinTech Innovation Lab in partnership with
Accenture.
