Compensation:
- Base salary range is $90,000 to $180,000.
- Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives, if eligible.

Role Overview
The Senior Analyst, Private Equity Operations leads the operational management of private deals, from approval and settlement through ongoing lifecycle events such as IPOs, restrictions, corporate actions, and liquidity events. This role partners with internal teams during key events, oversees external vendors, improves processes, supports technology enhancements, and helps keep private deal operations efficient and compliant.
Your Impact
- Oversee private deal operations from approval through settlement and lifecycle events
- Coordinate with issuers, legal teams, investors, trading, valuations, fund services, and operations teams
- Review private investment legal documents and set up deals for operational success
- Monitor restrictions, covenants, and position changes
- Manage operational support for IPOs, liquidity events, corporate actions, registrations, and distributions
- Resolve reconciliation issues and maintain accurate daily records
- Improve workflows, controls, and systems to support new funds and asset classes
- Deliver reporting support to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
This role calls for a strong mix of experience, skills, and abilities listed below to accomplish position responsibilities:
- 4–7 years of experience in private investment operations
- Background supporting private equity, real estate, evergreen, or secondaries investments
- Knowledge of private fund structures and lifecycle events
- Experience with legal documents, trade settlement, restriction tracking, and corporate actions
- Familiarity with platforms such as Dynamo, Geneva, Bellwether, EDGAR, IVP, and SEC.gov
- Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and process improvement
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
