Please describe the interview / hiring process.
AIG was present at my university campus and after having a chat with one of the recruiters, introducing myself and explaining what my interests were, he gave me his business card. I contacted him the same evening, sending along a copy of my CV and introducing myself again. What follow were some online tests (e.g. quick maths tests, verbal reasoning, nothing out of the ordinary). I passed those and was invited for some 1on1 interviews with senior staff (4 in total), which were all broadly the same. Starting with a walk through my CV, then questions why I wanted to work at AIG and what I could bring to the team, what my interests were and how I would apply myself. They then asked me to present a trade idea I had prepared. Overall the interview was average difficulty, ones at typical BBs I interviewed at were more difficult and challenging.
