Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The hiring process started with an office visit hosted specifically for students from my university. This consisted of the firm selling itself to students and displaying all of the positive aspects of working at the firm. Each student was paired with a current employee at the firm who was tasked with guiding the student around and making the student feel comfortable. The office visit was a very positive experience overall. The on-campus interview was preceded by a social the night before. The social gave students the opportunity to mingle with EY employees and ask less technical questions about the firm. The one-on-one interview was purely conversational. I discussed my background with the interviewing partner, and then she talked for the majority of the time. I was only tasked with asking her questions about anything I was curious about. I received my offer within the next two weeks.
