Trader

First interview consisted of arithmetic tests, 3 in total. One numerical test 8min MCQ, then Numerical sequences test 30 minutes, and harder arithmetic test 10 minutes. Prepare for these as they are very hard.

Then HR interview via phone (behavioral type questions, walk me through your resume etc, why optiver?). Then a face to face HR interview with a trader and HR where motivation is discussed in more detail. This took about an hour. Then a technical interview where I was bombarded with brainteasers and questions about market making and the like. This is by far the hardest part of the interview. Finally an interview where you sit with a trader who's trading, this is referred to as the 'desk chat' part of the interview.
