Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process for RBS's Capital Markets internship in Houston was one that was long and uneventful. I had the (unsettling) feeling that the guy I was talking to didn't understand what he was talking about. For example, my interview for my current position at a boutique IBank was more helpful as well as more thorough. In fact, I am technically still in the running for a position at RBS. The interviewer said he wanted me, however he had to wait for a spot to open up. However, the whole thing seemed very thrown together, the guy was off-topic and unorganized, and the structure you would expect from RBS was not present.

This might be an isolated incident, however from what I've heard from my peers, this seemed pretty typical of RBS.
