Difference between dress shirts and business casual shirts?

So I sometimes hear people refer to dress shirts and then business casual shirts separately. Can't you wear dress shirts for business casual, just unbutton the top button and don't wear a tie?

Also are button down collars acceptable for business casual?

So I realized yesterday I have a ridiculous amount of shirts that have accumulated over the past 3 years. I counted 105- about 60 were dress shirts and the rest business casual. I probably have about 25 polo's that I rotate through the summer. Is this an excessive amount to have?

So i am joining a formal BB as an analyst. I got two really great brand dress shirts for cheap for my Analyst wardrobe:

they kinda look like this

1- http://www.mensusa.com/images/GoldenElite-Blue-Pea...

2- http://ak1.ostkcdn.com/images/products/P12513249.jpg

Sooo,
after thinking about it, i feel like i retard for buying #2, i'll never get to wear this without embarrassing myself at the bank, right?

What about shirt #1, is this acceptable?

Shirt Pic

I got this dress shirt from a old friend and they never told me what the shirt brad it was. It is a white and purple stripe shirt with a solid white collar. The collar has two buttons on each end that are purple with with the letters NI. The "N" behind the "I". Both the N and I are in cursive. There is a pocket with the stitched NI. Both the sleeve buttons have NI as well. On the inside there is a label that says "PrimierLux 100". On the bottom of that label it says "Fabric made in Italy by TesTa". I have goggled everything in my power and I have not found any shirts that have the buttons of NI on them or even the same inside labels.

Hi Monkeys,

(Stupid question alert).

As a poor SA that doesn't have many shirts (basically 1 for each day of the week), my shirts get really wrinkled. Can't afford dry cleaning everyday either.

Do any of you have experience with fabric steamers (http://www.amazon.ca/CONAIR-GS10RC-Conair-Deluxe-S...)?? Should I invest in one? Or stick to the old fashion iron?

Thanks
