GPA Rounding Question
Prior to transferring, I had a high gpa near 4.0 for one year, then I transferred and got a ~3.4 cumulative at this new school. Should I/Can I "average" the two GPAs into one "cumulative college GPA" and keep that on my resume? I was recommended to do this by a few people who work in finance, but...
GPA Rounding Question
Hi, I recently received a referral for an SA position for 2024 and am wondering whether it would be safe or rather worth the risk to bump the GPA on my resume from 3.4 to 3.5, seeing as it seems to be considered by most. as the "floor" for GPA. Part of my concern to do so is that I'm at a...
GPA Rounding Question - Undergraduate
Can you round a 3.838 to 3.85 or a 3.738 to a 3.75 on your resume? I know some students round a 3.75+ to a 3.8 but I'm curious to know how rounding to a x.x5 works.
GPA Change after summer internship Bulge Bracket M&A IBD
Hi!!! I just had a question!! I was wondering so like my GPA was prob like a 3.7/3.8 when I recruited and got my SA position last year and now after senior year it has dropped like a lot like .4 to like 3.3-3.5 range and i'm wondering if it is okay to just keep my GPA when I got my SA gig on my...
3.44 GPA: FML
Final grades are in and I am really pissed. Am I the only one? Sort of want to kill my econometrics Professor for giving me a B+ with an 89.9 average. Is a 3.44 really that much worse than a 3.45? Not being able to round up is driving me insane. How will I ever make it on Wall Street? Rant over.
Listing Projected GPA to Raise That Shit
I have a 3.03 and am still sending around resumes. If I get a 3.9 or 4.0 this quarter (ends in March), I'll be able to round to a 3.2. Should I list that now? If I don't hit that, I'll just say that some classes didn't go as well as expected. I guess, will the higher chance of being looked at...
rounding question
Is rounding a 3.38 to a 3.4 acceptable on resumes?
Listed wrong SAT scores on Resume
Will I have any issues with my background check? I've been listing my sat scores as 2110. Recently came across my score report and I apparently got a 2210 and not a 2110. It was a genuine mistake but obviously looks bad. Should I contact hr? Is there anything I can do at this point or do I have to...
Applying for job -- school gives GPA out in three digits, online form only allows 2 digits
I'm applying for positions and the online form only allows GPAs to two digits. My overall GPA is 3.689/4.000 -- would I raise red flags if I put 3.69 or should I put 3.68? Thanks.
When can you round to a 4.0 GPA?
I know, please don' t hurl Monkey Business at me. I used the search before posting but could not find this specific topic. Just curious if you can round a 3.95/6 to a 4.0 or if that will get you a ding?
