Interview
My student organization received a posting directly from Atlas. I replied with my resume and was offered an in-person interview. I interviewed with the founder/president and then another partner. Unfortunately, I had multiple interviews that day, so I was a little flustered and ended up bombing the behavioral/personality questions. The interviews were about 15 minutes each and focused on the general goals, "why banking/here". I asked some questions about the size and goals of his business, but got defensive about. I was genuinely interested, but I guess it came across the wrong way. It is a very small shop (5-10 people), but it seems they are focused on their niche vs. growth.
Interview Questions
The questions were very high level, which surprised me as I mostly prepped for technical questions. Question: If you were stranded on an island, what three books would you wish had with you?
I led with, I like investing and understanding businesses... What type of stocks are you interested in right now? I was super in to Apple at the time, and ended up just being cliche...
