My process started at Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia while getting my MBA. There is heavy networking involved with most bulge bracket banks coming to campus. Recruiting at Darden is especially nice as trips to New York City are not required. I made connections through phone conversations (10+) in the fall which allowed me to secure a interview in the winter. Had two rounds of interviews of during a very hectic recruiting week. I was fortunate to secure an offer late in the week. Find someone to vouch for you at any firm. The key is to develop at least one strong connection in order to secure an interview. The rest is up to you.
