I reached out to someone online via cold emailing and ended up getting a positive response (as in they wanted to speak with me more) and set up a phone call with an analyst. It was pretty informal and relaxed but he did ask some accounting/valuation questions. Then a few weeks later I heard from someone higher up and had a similar phone call and within a few days I had a final round (phone) interview set up. I had the offer within a week of the final phone call.
