Interview
Started. with a few phone interviews / screens. Then, a case study that involved evaluating a company based on a CIM. Then a final in-person interview. Everybody was very nice, and down-to-earth. There was also a short modeling test, that was relatively straightforward. Most of the conversations centered around fit and past experience as opposed to technicals.
Interview Questions
What are a few consumer businesses that you would be interested in investing in? Should be able to give a few businesses and explain why their business model, etc, is attractive
Lots of questions about the potential business in the case study and being able to take a view on it - important to be comfortable with financials (e..g, P&L, balance sheet), but also be able to think about the company's strategic positioning, etc.
