Interview
Submitted resume on my College's recruiting site. One behavioral/fit interview over the phone, then a group interview with two employees from the firm. The group interview was about an hour long and consisted of an executive search case and then a little bit more behavioral questions. The executive search case was different than most consulting interviews, most of the frameworks for traditional consulting will not help.
Interview Questions
The second round consisted of an executive search consulting case. The case involved a client that needs a Chief Sales Officer. The interviewers broke the case up into three parts: (1) Asking questions and performing "due diligence" about the client. (2) Giving an overview of the search strategy. (3) Giving specific examples of companies or individuals you would look at for this role and why. This is pretty different than your average consulting case, and requires knowledge about different industries and high performing companies. If you don't know about many different industries or companies, then they want you to show that you can at least adapt and make knowledgeable assumptions.

Interview
I was part of a summer program where the firm was conducting interviews. I submitted a resume and cover letter and found out I received an interview the day before the scheduled time slot. It consisted of one 30-min fit interview and one 30-min case interview.
Interview Questions
Walk me through your resume (expected)- interviewer simply asked me to walk her through my resume and she asked me a few questions about my experiences
Name one academic challenge you faced and how you showed leadership through it. This was difficult because the interviewer was specific about the fact that it had to be academic which limited my response.
