Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
First round is a phone interview with HR. All basic behavioral questions.

Second round is another phone interview with a VP or associate. Mostly behavioral with a couple technicals.

Last round is a super day in the office. Consists of 4-5 interviews as well as a skills/IQ test. Mostly behaviorals, some more technicals, and industry talk.
Interview Questions
Most of the questions were pretty straight forward. All of the standard behavioral questions you would get (why IB, why this firm, etc.). The majority of the technicals were straight from the 400 questions guide. The two hardest questions were:

1.) Walk me through a standard sell-side M&A process. After answering we went a little more in depth.

2.) Why is there not a lot of private equity activity in the construction and engineering space, historically? Also had a brief follow up to this question.
