Focus Acquisition Partners is a private equity sponsor supported by a network of U.S. based investors seeking acquisitions in the health care, business services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Working with private equity groups and family offices, Focus originates and structures transactions with the owners of mid-sized companies for buyout, recapitalization and growth capital investments.

Because we often take equity positions in the companies we sponsor, Focus screens investors for compatibility in addition to the expertise and capabilities best suited to the business’s needs. Business owners leverage Focus’s network of more than 250 investment groups to find the right partner with fewer introductions and without announcing to competitors, customers, or employees that the company is “for sale.” Investors in turn receive an introduction to a screened, negotiated investment opportunity that is committed to the investment process.

THE PARTNER NETWORK
The typical investor in the Focus partner network is a private equity firm or family office with between $250 million and $1 billion of capital under management. These investors are active buyers of platform companies and add-on investments. They are prepared to provide company owners with liquidity in addition to the resources necessary to execute “buy and build” growth strategies.
