Interview
Very laid back interview for PE, but it is a smaller firm so I didn't expect it to be like the larger firms. First met with two associates then had a meeting with an MD. Answered general questions about my interest in PE, background, and overall goals. Walked away very impressed with the company.
Interview Questions
What are some of the challenges with investments into middle market companies? I did not know how to answer the question initially but started saying something about access to capital and winged it from there.

Interview
They got back to me with a month of applying online. The first interview was in person with two analyst in where their goal was to get to know my background, skills, and fit within the company. The second Round Interview was with the Managing Director and he asked a few technical questions, but in general the interview was more behavioral.
Interview Questions
Primarily the technical questions were related to accounting principles such as what is EBITDA? how do you calculate EBITDA? and regarding multiples and valuations. They did ask about financial statement, but easy questions with the goal of finding out if i knew what is supposed to be in the Financial Statements.
