Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Phone interview was fairly simple. Began with the typical "walk me through your resume" followed by questions regarding the specifics of some of my experiences. The MD then went into more detail about the position, and what the role consisted of. I was also assigned a project to complete: find 10 comps of a mid-market pharmaceutical company and get all the contact info for the CEO of the company. In person interview was a review of the material and my thought process followed by more "getting to know each other" questions.
Interview Questions
"Tell me about yourself" was the most difficult question asked. There were no technical questions involved. It was more of a general getting to know each other and making sure that I was personable and someone he could work with for 10 hours at a time. This question was critical to make a good first impression. If I did not have an interesting story or was in no way relatable to him, then I am confident that I would not have been offered the position. The question was expected so I made sure I had an answer well prepared.

Interview
The initial interview process is a one-on-one interview with a Managing Director. The questions revolve around ones that pertain to personality and cultural fit criteria, to make sure that you're an outgoing candidate and not just a complete number cruncher.

This was followed by a phone interview with an additional Managing Director which involves you explaining why you want to be in the industry, as well as other personality questions. One of the Managing Directors was an alumni from my school so it was a natural connection.

My experience with the process was that the culture was busy, serious, but also knew how to enjoy the work that was involved with the company.
