Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Very quick - I did it on LinkedIn and got a phone call later. I went to the in person a week later.
Interview Questions
They asked very detailed questions about the DCF model -
this wasn’t too hard just a lot of questions. Then they asked how ROIC and growth would influence the value of a business. Wether one was better than the other. They gave me scenarios about different companies (one with a high roic) and other one (with high growth rate). I thought it was a good topic but too much details.

Phone Interview
Interview
I applied online through my school's internship platform. They gave me a phone round that had no technicals.
Interview Questions
Nothing was too unexpected, in all honesty. No technicals asked in the phone round whatsoever. I guess the "weakness" question was the most unexpected, but even that was pretty easy. They are essentially looking for you to speak about a mistake first, and then show how what you did was a part of a greater weakness. But I must say that I didn't really expect such a cliched question. They threw it in near the beginning too, a basic "why shouldn't we hire you" question. But it wasn't too weird, so I'll give it a pass.

Interview
Went through recruiting off of website. Got invited in to meet by the group's SVP after initial phone interview. Met with 2 MDs and 1 VP that took about ~3 hours total. The interviews themselves were very technical in terms of the product group i was interviewing for, so if you have experience in the field you have to be prepared to get grilled. Not a lot of fit questions whatsoever
Interview Questions
Nothing in particular jumped out. However, a lot of technical terms were new to me and that was difficult. What's your biggest failure?
