30 minute interview with one other person. Asks you why you want to work at Ocean Tomo, what you know about the valuation or expert testimony role, and how your education translates directly to your success at their company.
Interview Questions
Asks the difference between their valuation and expert testimony role. Make sure you research so you stand out, as he said most people aren't able to answer this question. Also asks what skill you would buy if you were able to buy one you don't currently have. Kind of threw me off because I had never thought about it, but good to know before going in. There was nothing technical, but think about the company and try to respond in a way that overlaps with their culture and way of thinking. No questions about actual analysis.

First round consisted of a HR phone screening with head of HR. After that, I got pushed through to a Super Day style of interview, behavioral interviews, along with understanding of the industry. Case study after consisting of building a financial model.
Interview Questions
What's your favorite economic topic? Such a broad question that it's quite hard in the moment to really just nail down something.
Case question - was more of a financial model case. Build a model that would summarize how much money should be owed in a patent infringement lawsuit. Was given, profits, expenses, license rates, etc. They gave me about 30-45 minutes to work on the case and then 30 minutes where I walked through the model with an associate and Principal who asked a few questions as I presented it (very informal).
