Very typical phone screen first round. Did not make later rounds but would have been an excel and powerpoint skills test and an interview with senior bankers. Their communication was inconsistent, so my interview was very late in their process.
Interview Questions
Not exactly a question, but he turned the call on me sooner than expected to ask questions for the rest of the time. I didn't have as many thoughtful questions as necessary prepared.

1. What is something that you are doing right now to improve yourself

2. A case study type question where they asked what I would put on one slide if I was trying to present a company for M&A to a potential buyer

3. Asked about some stocks that I had pitched in the past and did a deep dive into really low-level stuff about the product and its technical specifications

4. Very interested in my research processes that I did on stocks that I have looked at in the past.

Interview
I applied through my school's job portal and received an email from HR to schedule a first round screen. After speaking with her, spoke with an Associate for my second-round over the phone. I was told the next round would be with more senior level employees at the firm.
Interview Questions
The two interviews I had were both very much behavioral/fit type questions. They asked me what challenges that I had faced at my previous internships, what specific projects had I worked on, if I had worked in a small team before in a professional environment. They also tested my general understanding of investment banking and the firm itself. Lastly, the Associate asked me a question about my favorite shortcuts to take in Excel - I assume this was to understand my compatibility with Microsoft Excel.
