Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

In-house recruiting at Oxford reached out via LinkedIn for the Development Manager opening. This was for a team based in Toronto that has a portfolio of mixed-use developments. The whole process consisted of two phone interviews, two virtual interviews (one with a director, one with a VP) and one case study in between the virtual interviews.

Interview
Submit application package through online portal, if Oxford liked what they saw you'd be invited to a networking session at their offices with directors who would be conducting the interviews. From there a modeling test would be administered (4 hours long - industrial development to stabilization with Argus export). After that you would receive a group interview with the directors you met earlier in the process. The vibe I received from the two directors (MD and AP) was very off putting and made me realize this was an organization I wouldn't want to work for - they lacked personality and were a burden to speak with. I rescinded my application following this interview.
