Applied through the corporate HR portal after seeing a posting on an aggregate listing site. Was invited for a first round a week later. First round was cordial: all fit/behavioral and no technical. Mainly interested in why I was interested in the position. Guy was an analyst and very complimentary. Was subsequently asked to take an online logic/personality test, which was also easy. Was then passed to the second round, an in-office superday at there offices in the city. People there seemed nice. What stuck out was how long everybody had been with the company. There were directors who had been with Prudential for over 20 years. Nailed every interview but flubbed a pretty basic technical (bond sensitivity). Also didn't quite sell my interest in structured finance (showed myself to be predominately interested in corpfin). Received rejection a couple of days later.
