Interview
I got the interview via networking. First interview consisted of more general, behavioral questions at their office with some of the junior level guys. Following that, I heard back that I was selected to come for another round. At that time, the Company sent me instructions for a writing sample. I was to submit my writing sample before my next interview, along with college transcripts, etc. My next interview was with senior level employees and it was more technical, but still very personality based. It is a small shop so i think fit is huge for them.
Interview Questions
How do you see the general global PE landscape today? I wasn't sure how to answer this question or what they were looking for. Stanwich does a lot of work overseas so maybe i needed to have a better understanding.
Why do you want to work at Stanwich Advisors? This was difficult because I knew little about the firm. There is not very much public information about them, or PE placement agents in general.
