The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Applied online, got an email a month later to schedule a HR screening. Passed that then 1st round interview, which involved a few behaviorals and 1 case. Invited back for 2nd round, met the president and a few other directors, also did a case.
Interview Questions
None of the questions were too difficult. The ususals, e.g. leadership, past experiences, etc. Interviewers appeared to pick the most interesting experiences on your resume. Just to make sure you know your resume front and back. The tricky part I would say it's the case in 2nd round. I was given a stack of slides, then was required to re-arrange the slides, and write titles on each. However, if you did really well on the first round case, I think they will give you some break on the second round.

Very long process: first was on campus and consisted of an atypical case question which you solved back and forth with the consultant administering the case. The second half consisted of HR.

Second step was 2 weeks later at their office - another very atypical case question (presentation style) and an excel test very poorly run. Third part was supposed to be a tough interview but he was in a rush. Company seemed like they didnt know what to expect from their own process and stuck me in with HR and a managing director (not on the schedule).

Third step was to be a phone/skype interview with partners and ceo
Interview Questions
On campus case: entering a new market as a PE firm - market share, little bit of calculations. It was easy to work with consultant to figure out the intricacies of the case
On site case: rearrange powerpoint and pretend you are presenting to BOD as CEO
On site excel: sift through data to solve analysis questions

Interview
I applied through my school’s career center and was offered an interview on campus. The interview was one hour long, consisting of two 30 minute interviews. The first interview was a behavioral based interview with very standard questions. The second was a case interview about evaluating a company that operates vacation villas in Hawaii for possible purchase by a private equity fund.
Interview Questions
Case interview about evaluating a company that operates vacation villas in Hawaii for possible purchase by a private equity fund.
Answered by breaking down financials, competitive landscape, etc. Ended up concluding that the company lacked scalability and would be a poor purchase.

Interview Questions
Specifically, why are you interested in this firm? What aspects of Stax or its current business focuses do you find most appealing?

Website is a little light on specifics about what the firm does, so it was difficult to come up with an exact answer. Seems to be very diversified, so just narrowed in on a specific area highlighted on the site and focuses on that. For example, they discuss market entry services.
