How do you manage risk?

I manage risk by understanding my current position/view. From there I look at the current market regime to determine if I have a position that I am comfortable with. Do I have too much risk on? How much conviction do I have on the trade?

Next I follow the news to make sure I have the most up to date information. What are the upcoming events that are going to affect my position. What are the likely scenarios. What is my stop loss level where I am wrong?

Interview was not too difficult, some basic fit questions then some pretty easy brain teasers and mental math. However, I never heard back, even to tell me I did not get it. Very disappointed with their management for that.

Interview
Wined and dined. Stayed in a nice hotel and was picked up in a nice Mercedes. Met with a few people, one of whom was the director. Took me to the trading floor. Talked about skills and interests; a few people had some brainteasers; one gave me a brief programming test. The questions weren't particularly hard and they were better than the typical "how many ping pong balls..." Culture was laid back. Employees were wearing casual clothes; there was ping pong table in the middle of the floor. It was somewhat fratty. The HR guy wasn't particularly helpful before or after the interview.
Interview Questions
I was slightly surprised when one of the interviewers came in with a paper test on programming. One of the brain teasers was initially tricky - "you come to a fork in the road and there's a man standing in front of each path. One path leads to paradise and one to hell. One man always tells the truth. The other always lies. You do not know who tells the truth and who lies nor do you know which path leads to paradise and which to hell. You get to ask one question to one man in order to determine which path is the one to paradise. What do you ask?"

Interview
I only had a one on one interview on campus. I got the interview through a resume drop on the campus career website. I pulled out before I completed the process after I accepted another offer.
Interview Questions
They asked about a time that I took a risk. From there we had a brief conversation/followup questions on my anecdote.
There were several brain teasers and math questions. He asked me to square every number in his phone number and sum those numbers up in my head. Nothing too difficult.
