Interview
I initially applied about a week ago, then received a HireVue from the recruiter for the position, and then was given some time to complete it. The questions asked about why I was interested in WTW and were heavily situational (behavioral) questions for the HireVue–I was asked about a time I worked in a collaborative environment, struggled to reach a goal, and each time to describe my actions as well as the outcome/result of them.
Interview Questions

Interview
Applied online in October, hirevue video interview in January. Superday in their main office in February. No curveballs, overall a pretty easy/standard behavioral interview with about 7 different people on the team. Everyone was nice and friendly, just trying to get to know you better and go over the job and what you can bring to the team.
Interview Questions
1. Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult work partner/teammate, and explain what you role you played in solving any issues. After I gave my answer, I was continuously pressed to expand and explain my rationale. They wanted to see specifically how I work on teams and how my personality plays into it.

2. What role do you see yourself growing into on the team long term?

3. Why this job? might not sound difficult, but they wanted a substantial reason since reinsurance is a niche business and often under the radar for undergrads

On Campus Interview with 1 recruiter. Talked about experiences and mainly behavioral questions, nothing difficult.
Interview Questions
Nothing too difficult as I said. Primarily behavioral questions concerned with getting to know the candidate as a person, trying to test the candidates experiences and skills to fit the position you are interviewing for. Some questions about actuarial exams and your awareness about them, whether you might want to take them in the future. Didn't find anything too tough to answer, no questions that put you on the spot. not hard to prepare for interviews that are concerned just with behavioral fit

Interview
I was contacted over the phone to set up a one on one phone interview with a current analyst. After that, I came to New York and had 4 separate one on one interviews and a group lunch. The process was very quick and the interviewers were genuinely interested in the process.
Interview Questions
There weren't many unexpected interview questions. I got exactly what I expected in terms of a fair balance of behavioral questions, previous experience with excel, and past work experiences. The questions were mostly targeted at asking how you would fit in a team-based work environment. They also were interested in how much prior research you had done for your future career path. Since I was interviewing for an actuarial position, they asked for a brief overview of the exam process, where I was in it, and any long term goals.

Interview
There is a preliminary interview consisting of 6 questions split 50/50 between spoken video answers and 3 written answers. They were standard questions such as describe a time you dealt with a difficult situation. The technical questions (solely on your chosen field) are saved for the telephone interview. They also go through your CV during this time.
Interview Questions
The most unexpected question was probably describe a time you failed and how you would have dealt with the situation differently in hindsight. The reason this was so difficult was it caught me off guard. Not only do you have to have to come up with a time when you did not achieve what you set out to do, but also have to provide answers as to why you failed and that you have learnt from the mistake. This is an answer that may take a little preparation time as it can be difficult to come up with a solution on the spot.
