Giving Notice

Hi,

I am planning on giving notice on Monday. I have been at this firm for less than two months but need to leave because it is an absolute nightmare. Is it better to give notice in the beginning of the day or at the end of the day? Is the standard policy for giving notice two weeks? Any way to give less than that, I am not concerned with burning any bridges since I've been here for less than two months. I don't plan on keeping in touch with any of these people.

Thanks for the advice.
