Do consulting firms pay for your phone?
Hi folks,
This may be a dumb question, but do most consulting firms pay for your cell phone (not just service but device)? With the holidays coming around and there being deals, I have been thinking about buying a new phone (mines 4 years old now). I don't want to buy a new phone if my work will pay for it though. Any advice here? As an FYI, I am a graduating senior who will be starting full time in the summer/fall of 2021 at a T2 firm.

Most give you a corporate phone
Deloitte Advisory (pretty close to consulting unit) gives each employee up to $250 for phone or any other tech items you want. The phone usually comes free though.
Many firms give a corporate phone but they'll monitor it.
