Leveraging GMAT to MBB
From what I’ve read, having a strong GMAT can be a big factor in post-MBA MBB recruiting. Can a high GMAT score also help with recruiting pre-MBA? If so, how would you leverage your score?
For some context, I’m from a non-target (for consulting, semi-target for finance) with a 740 (skewed a little toward the verbal side). Was wondering how much my GMAT would help me and whether it would at least get my foot in the door for interviews.
It won’t hurt, but it’s only one factor out of many. Stick it under your resume’s education section. Start networking and find good internships.
