MBB -> PE
I’m interested in working in a regional MBB office, but want to potentially do PE down the road. I know this isn’t the typical career trajectory, but was wondering if this is possible and what I can do during my consulting years to increase my chances. I know that the usual path is banking -> PE, but given that PE firms seem to have taken more straight from undergrad, does it seem like there’s still a good shot to break into PE from MBB?
