My campus career fair has firms for accounting… what about consulting?

Hi everyone, my school is a not a target but is a large state school with a great business program. The big 4 accounting firms are coming to a career fair in late September and are recruiting for accounting positions. How do I take advantage of this opportunity for consulting if these firms are only sending accounting recruiters?

I went to a similar type of school. I didn’t break into consulting out of undergrad but from what I’ve heard I think if you reach out to alumni of your school and express interest (and also have a high gpa, extracurriculars, etc) you can attempt to get in that way
